Based on a true story, this made-for-television movie stars Kirsten Dunst (THE VIRGIN SUICIDES, SPIDERMAN) as Tina Spangler, a 15-year-old who accidentally becomes pregnant. When Tina is abandoned by her boyfriend, she is faced with few options: abortion, adoption, or a difficult life as a single mother. Tina turns to those closest to her for support, mainly her mother Evie, who knows firsthand the hardships of raising children alone. At first Tina thinks her life is ruined, but slowly realizes her own strength. What at first appears to be an impossible situation may end up bringing Tina's family together.
