Out of Time
|
| | | In One Moment He Lost 20 Years. Features: DVD Jack Epson is the heart and soul of his simple small town, which doesn't leave a lot of quality time for his family. One day, he is lured out into the woods at the edge of town and is magically put to sleep asleep for twenty years! He awakes in a high-tech world where he is a stranger to his wife and his now grown-up daughter. Now only time will tell if he can rebuild what was lost while he was asleep or if time has indeed run out.
Editor's Note
Showtime presents this variation on Washington Irving's classic RIP VAN WINKLE, about a man who goes to sleep outside his peaceful, rural town only to awaken twenty years later and find that it has been overrun by technology. James McDaniel stars as Jack Epson, a man content with his simple surroundings, who is lured into the woods one day and put to sleep. Upon waking twenty years later, he is a stranger to his wife and children, and he finds that his beloved hometown has become an impersonal hi-tech world. Struggling to come to grips with the future, Jack tries to rebuild his relationship with his family and help his town regain some of what it had lost since he fell asleep.
